Fairlea Animal Hospital offers comprehensive veterinary surgery services for dogs and cats. All of our veterinarians are general surgeons, performing soft tissue surgery and minor orthopedic procedures.
We realize that surgery can sometimes be stressful for pets, and often for owners as well. We want to assure you that your pet is in good hands, and that we will do everything to provide the best care possible. During both surgery and recovery, your pet’s vital signs will be closely monitored by out trained veterinary technicians with the help of tools such as electrocardiogram (ECG), pulse oximetry, and blood pressure.
It is our goal to make sure the entire process goes smoothly, and to help eliminate the stress and worry of surgical procedures. We also use our therapeutic laser on your pet’s surgical incision to help promote a healthy start to the healing process. The effects of this laser treatment include reduced inflammation and pain as well as enhanced tissue healing and circulation.
