We wanted to take a moment to share with you the importance of your pet’s
dental health. Did you know that by age 3, 70% of cats and 80% of dogs have
some form of dental disease?
We clearly see that dogs and cats with excellent dental health live longer
and healthier lives. It is important to us that our clients realize that
bad breath, red gums, or yellow teeth can be an avenue for bacteria to
enter the pet’s blood stream and reach the kidneys, heart, liver, and other
organs. February is DENTAL HEALTH MONTH and it’s a great time to consider
if you are being proactive about your pet’s dental care. Watch our YouTube
video “How to brush your dog’s teeth”, ask us what treats we recommend to
aid in dental health, or schedule a dental cleaning for your pet. We want
to provide you with the tools to give your pet a long and healthy life.
